I have
some questions to ask to INDIANS. I challenge you that you cannot answer. Try …..
I love my
country. I am proud of being an Indian.
Why do
some Indians worry about caste system even though they are ready to accept
benefits of the same?
Only
India has casteism. Casteism determines the social status and improves social
security. The system helps in the growth of socio-economic interdependence
among the families of various castes living in villages of India.
People
are worried about Casteism only when they are affected:-
The Brahmins are the highest of the social order, revered as
priests and scholars of Vedic literature and their traditional occupation is to
concern themselves with the spiritual guidance of the people, conduct rites at
marriages, births, deaths and other auspicious occasions. They are the most
respected community in India.
Dalits in India were not allowed to draw water from the
common well; they were prohibited from entering temples; they are barred from
the right to education and knowledge.
At present when reservation benefits dalits, Brahmins find it unfair.
They say- “Without talent, these Dalits are getting better jobs due to caste”. They complain “We are
discriminated.”
Similarly, if a Dalit guy is not allowed to perform religious
rites, he gets enraged. He Says “I have been discriminated due to caste”.
Really?
When he gets job due to caste, it’s not discrimination. But when he can’t
performs religious rites, he feels being discriminated. Both feel
discriminated.
Why blame
politicians for playing caste politics if apolitical people themselves aren’t
interested in removing caste discrimination? People only realize discrimination
when they are deprived of anything. While getting facility or causing atrocity,
nobody realize the discrimination that exist in the name of culture.
I love my
country. I am proud of being an Indian.
Yet I am
proud of many facets of my nations culture. The feeling of the proudest is not
complete due to Indian hypocrisy.
I have N
number of questions. I ‘ll catch you by my next post.
